Locomotor system

Published on Locomotor system.

It includes bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles.

This is the area where we find contradictions: problems of structure, ability to stand up, inflexibility and undervaluation.

Inflexibility has its roots in beliefs, in the pattern of thought. Undervaluation has its origins in the person’s identity, based on what he does or what he accomplishes rather than on what he is. It is the case of the person who needs to do and/or to reach and/or to have, just to show he exists, whether at home or at work. In this system we find all the tensions of the type: “What I must accomplish as well as what I must do for my family.”

Here lie the problems of the relationship with the world.

It is here that we measure the quality of practical accomplishments. The feeling of individuality and self-esteem is at stake. What I do with myself and what I do in this world, my flexibility and my steadfastness, all are concerns.

One can only exist in function of others. How does the outside world affect my structure and how do I influence the outside world?

Here are the conflicts associated with my self-worth. What part of my consciousness is hidden in my relationship with the world?

In this system of bones, joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles, there is no common denominator relative to the yin/yang polarity based on the side of the body.

Locomotor system symptoms are associated with mental inflexibility and undervaluation.

Inflexibility and undervaluation are usually associated with communication issues, but they may also be associated with the sensation of lack of self esteem, which gives rise to a different yin/yang polarity that differs with each case.

In fact, communication questions are associated with the cerebral hemispheres of the cortex which have a cross effect in the body, as the right hemisphere controls the left side, and the left hemisphere controls the right side.

Therefore, in this case, a symptom on the right side of the body reflects excessive yang (masculine) behaviour, and a symptom on the left side of the body reflects excessive yin (feminine) behaviour. This is the same for left-handed and right-handed people. It is so because the cerebral hemispheres are identical for both left-handed and right-handed people.

However, issues related to lack of self esteem are not tied to communication. When the person has a feeling of self undervaluation, the tension trigger is associated with the brain marrow, which is another part of the brain. Thus, in the case of lack of self esteem, symptoms in bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles that happen on the right side show yin (feminine) behaviours, while those on the left side show yang (masculine) behaviours. This is the same for left-handed and right-handed people. In fact, the effect of the brain marrow on the body is not crossed: the right side of the brain marrow affects the right side of the body and the left side of the brain marrow affects the left side of the body. For these reasons, the diagnostic yin and yang relative to symptoms in the locomotor system solely based on side polarity must be extremely careful

Nowadays, communication issues are much more common than than any other issues. It is likely that the symptoms are almost all caused by relationship or communication issues. For this matter, in terms of diagnostic, we may assume that the right side of the locomotor system involves very yang behaviours, while the left side involves very yin behaviours, but we must be careful.
