Prostate

Published on Glands.

The prostate is a gland annexed to the male genital system. Its secretion contributes to the production of sperm and mixes with the spermatozoids that come from the testicles. It secretes an alkaline substance that stimulates the movement of spermatozoids. From an energy perspective, the prostate is a sexual catalyst. The key tension associated to prostate-related problems is to feel useless.

It is important to remember that, in the case of animals, territorial questions are associated to reproduction. For them, the survival of the species is more important than the individual. Hence, the territory is linked to the species, reproduction and offspring. This is what we call our roots. The animal concept of territory includes the males’ conflicts of a sexual nature and corresponding undervaluation feeling when they lose their territory. The animal that contributes to the survival of the species feels useful. Actually, his usefulness is indispensable. This ancient animal feeling makes us, humans, feel territorial conflicts in the cervix (also called neck of the womb or cervical canal of the uterus) in the case of women, and in the prostate, in the case of men. Therefore, from an animal perspective, men feel their territorial conflicts in the prostate. Prostate related problems are characteristic of people who lost a sexual partner or are afraid of losing him or her. These people feel undervalued, useless and without a chance of marking their territory, from an animal standpoint. But this is not all. In our society, male usefulness is also judged by the capacity to accomplish things, by the capacity to do useful things. Retired men often have prostate problems. Not out of sexual frustration or because they are unable to procreate, but because they are men who used to centre their lives on their profession and believed that anything not related to the profession was unimportant. Upon their retirement, they began thinking they are useless and empty.

Therefore, the cause for prostate-related problems, such as prostate cancer is remarkably yang. It is typical of very masculine men, who are very regulated, very hard working, who lack sensitivity and who have blocked their feminine and sensitive side, which was the non-professional other side of their lives. They do not know how to live without their masculine, professional or active side.

All prostate-related problems are connected to the same tension in the conscience: “I feel useless!” The bigger the tension and the more lived in silence it is, the more serious is the symptom.

Benign tumors in the prostate (adenomas and fibromas) are not cancer, they are a form of drawing attention, in a non-violent way, to something deep that is not working properly in the person regarding his feeling of usefulness.

Hypertrophy of the prostate (too large) hinders normal urinary release. The person has difficulty in letting go of the waters of his body, as he has deep fears about his power, his capacity to give life, that is, to be useless.
