Gout

Published on Urinary system.

Gout is created by the build up of uric acid and is characterized by joint problems in the ankles. When gout occurs, there is a tendency for uric acid to accumulate in the joints and fingers. It is an almost exclusively male problem. This symptom results from a great accumulation of uric acid in the blood. It is caused by faulty kidney functioning, but also by swelling of the lymph nodes, or by a great increase in the production of white and red blood cells. The person has too much acid, is very bitter. This is an individual who has a tendency to blame others and avoid being introspective. He is inflexible in his beliefs. The person has an overly masculine attitude and needs to look inside himself and understand that others are not to blame.

In the case of kidney problems, see Kidneys.
