Shoulder blade

The shoulder blade is called Omoplate in Latin languages.

Omo derives from Greek and means shoulder, scapula. Plate also comes from Greek and means flat, even. The shoulder blade is, therefore, the flat bone of the shoulder. That is why it is called shoulder blade in English. It is a large and flat bone located in the upper part of the thorax. On the back, it protects the heart and the lungs, which are organs kept in the chest cavity and organs of communication, of feelings and of quite delicate emotions. The area of the heart represents emotions and the area of the lungs represents a relationship with the outside. Fractured shoulder blades, which are bones, shows that the person felt extremely undervalued, but also that, by breaking them, he felt enormous relief in the tension he was experiencing.

This undervaluation was experienced in the bones that protect the back of the chest. This means that, in this particular case, the person felt attacked on his emotions by someone. Someone has attacked this person’s feelings. As if the person was not allowed to feel what he is feeling. The particular aspect here is that the attack was on the person’s back, therefore, it was betrayal.

In almost all cases, the right shoulder blade is yang (masculine) and the left is yin (feminine). This applies both to left and right-handed people. Problems in the yang shoulder blade indicate that the person felt attacked in his emotions, betrayed, by a man, and in the yin shoulder blade, show that the person felt attacked in his emotions, betrayed, by a woman.
