Parathyroid glands

These are endocrine glands. These are four parathyroid glands on the side of the thyroid. They secrete parathormone, which regulates calcium levels in the blood, and has an effect on the locomotor system and on the circulation system.

From the perspective of tension in the conscience, the parathyroid glands are identical to those of the thyroid.
