Digestive system

Published on Digestive system.

The digestive system is made up of six segments: mouth, pharynx, oesophagus, stomach, small bowel (duodenum, jejunum, and ileum) and large bowel (ascending colon, sigmoid colon, descending colon, rectum and anus).

This system, along with the breathing system and the reproductive system, deals with the more primitive functions of life. These needs are primary. To get the food, eat it, absorb what is good and throw away the rest. These are all essential needs to the body. This is associated with total and absolute needs. It is about the geographic location where we live, about food in the strict sense of the word, which is represented by the biological Mother; it is also about food in a symbolic sense, associated with the roots of the person, affection, mainly about childhood affection, the objects of our desire that we would like to acquire, such as a house, a car, and, therefore, also work, money, an inheritance…

Here there are vital exchanges with the outside world. In the digestive system, we are connected to the fatality of starting over. There is desire, necessity, and fulfilment of desire.

This is what connects us with the fact of being incarnated.

It is the law of cycles. That is why there are relapses in conflicts, in tensions. Relapses in primary needs are more difficult, harder. Here we ruminate, we do not think. It is hard to leave the track we have been on. There is need for help. In this case, to help someone, it is necessary to suggest a very practical approach to solutions. Often it is no use talking about spirituality to people with these symptoms. They have trouble understanding. It is necessary to quickly direct them to topics that address how to do, give them practical directions.

There is no great precision in the digestive system. People are trapped in a present cycle. The tensions we find in the digestive system are tied to fears of doing without (fear of lacking) and conflicts of identification of emotional needs and primary needs. In the digestive system, there are two extremes: People who resolve things instantly and people who never resolve them.

In fact, from a biological perspective, to resolve things immediately is easy, because the digestive system reacts quickly because it is the most superficial of all the systems. And healing takes place from outside the body inwards.

As a system, it is the most yin of them all. The nervous system, on the contrary, is the slowest to react, because it is the deepest. As a system, it is the most yang of them all.

Problems affecting the digestive system are not connected with the yin left-hand side and the yang right-hand side polarity, or vice-versa, either in left-hand sided or right-hand sided people. There is no common denominator regarding the yin/yang polarity. And no distinction between left-hand sided or right-hand sided people.

There are only two exceptions: dental caries (teeth enamel) and sinus mucus membranes of the nose and mouth, in which the right side is yang (masculine) and the left side is yin (feminine), for everybody, left-hand sided and right-hand sided people. Problems in the yang side reveal lack of determination and absence of assertiveness due to difficulty in the relationship with a man. Problems in the yin side also demonstrate lack of determination and absence of assertiveness due to difficulty in the relationship with a woman.
