Nose

When there is a nose fracture, the body requests a break with a belief from the past and a change in behaviour. Fracture is normally the result of a physical or mental dynamic activity. It happens to hyperactive people. The body says: “Stop, take another route.” The person who fractures his nose bone is a person who has become very rigid and inflexible in his activities. It is worth looking at the home or at the person’s relationships. A nose fracture denotes root problems, problems at home, problems at school, sexual problems. The home has been severely shaken.

The nose assimilates the subtle side of things and exposes our relationship with breath, air, and heaven. The nose is closely associated to life through smell.

Smell adds volume and colour to taste, and is indissociable from it, in the same way the two eyes are indissociable from each other. Smell-related problems (chronic, not momentary) represent fear of allowing subtle things of life inside us, due to lack of self-esteem.

Loss of smell may also be caused by fear of acknowledging the animal that lives inside us. In fact, in the animal world, smell is a great tool for hormonal, hence sexual, recognition. The nose is associated to sexuality. The person who suffers from smell-related problems is also someone who contains his sexual impulses.

Blockage is another indication of this tension. The person whose nose is constantly blocked, or half-blocked, normally suffers from smell-related problems. It denotes the person has difficulty accepting intimate information that comes to him from the outside or the inside. He does not wish to acknowledge the symptoms. It is quite likely that the relationship at home is not flowing as he wishes. However, he does not want to examine the details. What is rotting in the relationship that the person refuses to smell? Absence of smell reveals pain, bitterness, or even a wish for revenge that we allowed to get rotten inside ourselves.

This type of symptom is often associated to a nasal discharge that runs down to the mouth, indicating the presence of an inner silent cry and impotence regarding changing things.

When the person has the nose bleeding, (spontaneously, not after being hit), this condition indicates a need for recognition. The person feels ignored and mistreated. This exposes a non-conscious loss of happiness, as well as an immense self-demand and a lack of confidence in oneself. There is no opportunity for mistakes to happen. The person loses his happiness. He suffers, and bleeds. He loses vitality, but is unaware of it. This is a natural process. It occurs mostly to children, in children who demand a lot of themselves and, as it happens, are quite successful. It may well be that this self-demanding imposition results from an extremely demanding Father or Mother.
