Nausea and vomiting

Published on Digestive system.

This is a typical occurrence in people who make their minds busy and then fail to digest their thoughts and their lives. They make their own lives difficult by using their minds so much. It makes it difficult to digest. It is as if we had a stone in our stomach. This is the manifestation of confusion and denial and of uncertainty (very common during pregnancy). Anxious people are more prone to nausea. “To think of it makes me sick”, “it made me lose my appetite”, “it turned my stomach inside out” are well known expressions that translate how difficult it can be to digest one’s thoughts. Nausea often occurs when somebody makes other person sick. “This guy makes me sick!”

Nausea stops right here. It represents the sick feeling regarding something that is going on in someone’s life. Vomit is an even more categorical demonstration of repudiation and defence. Vomiting simply means lack of acceptance. “I am not digesting this.” It may occur during pregnancy also.

In any case, both nausea and vomiting are forms of letting control go loose. Consequently, the person feels relief after vomiting.

In the case of some migraines, the action of vomiting gets rid of the migraine, loosens up the person and brings intense relief.
