Thymus

The thymus is a gland located in the upper portion of the chest cavity, just above and in front of the heart. Its action slows down after reaching puberty, and its size decreases with age.

The thymus plays a major role during children’s development, as it is an organ that is able to mature certain types of lymphocytes (a type of small leucocytes – white blood cells).

The thymus plays a major role in children until they become adolescents. It is involved in the process of growing up, metabolism and immune system. This is where the university of white cells can be found. It is connected to children’s growth and metabolism (metabolism is the group of chemical reactions through which the body assimilates what it needs and gets rid of what it does not). The memory of human beings is located in the thymus, and that memory is impregnated of childhood experiences that the child recalls about himself and about his parents (mostly about the parents), as well as with the male and female models he has come across in his life.

Problems related to the Thymus are linked to the relationship the individual has with the world of adults, which is represented, in the first place, by the individual’s parents. The tension that brings about problems in the thymus is silent and profound. This is a non-conscious process. The issue here is the person’s belonging to the family, always attempting to respect his unique identity. (At this point it is advisable to read Family). It is paramount that the person who suffers from problems in his thymus is allowed to express the type of tension he is feeling in his life and with his family.

Growth disordersare very much associated to the endocrine system. There are three glands that participate in the balanced growing up process of individuals: the pituitary, the thyroid and the thymus.

If a child believes it is not worth growing up, the body will show him that tension from a physical perspective. And the child will not grow.

And why should a child believe it is not worth growing up? It could be due to several reasons, but all point to his parents.
