Gonads

Published on Reproductive system.

Gonads are the endocrine glands of the genitals (testicles in men and ovaries in women). Testicles produce sperm and the ovaries produce eggs. The hormones produced by these glands control sexual characteristics such as hair growth, breast development, etc. Both men and women have male and female hormones but in different proportions. Problems in the gonads indicate a true sense of loss of a dear one. It may be a boyfriend or girlfriend, a son, etc. Cancer of the testicles and ovaries makes these glands overly productive, as if the body wanted to show the person’s desire to procreate, to create a new loved being. Cancer in these areas of the body shows the person’s incapacity to verbalize what he feels relatively to the loss he experienced.
