Bowel - large bowel - upper rectum

Published on Digestive system.

The upper rectum is located after the sigmoid. It is connected with decision-making. “Shall I defecate or not? Do I let go or not?” This is the area for terminal decisions. We are at the end of the intestine. This is an area for problems with grave consequences or problems involving deadlines.

Problems at the junction of the sigmoid and the rectum show that the person understood that he must let go of something, that he must truly make a decision. The person hesitates, however, because he is not sure of what he must let go. That is when cancer of the rectum happens, when the person feels great tension and does not share it, does not verbalize it. The cancer shows that the person experiences a great tension dealing with indecision and attachment. Tension, in this case, is due to the lack of strength to decide.
